Abstract

Garcia et al. generated cortical organoids from iPSCs of patients with GBA N370S and SNCA A53T mutations linked to Dementia with Lewy Bodies, demonstrating Lewy body-like inclusion formation, GCase enzyme deficiency, and glucosylceramide accumulation. This model connects GBA mutations to cortical α-synuclein aggregation pathology relevant to DLB.
