Abstract

Madhavan et al. developed brain organoids containing neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes that form compact myelin sheaths around axons, demonstrated by transmission electron microscopy. The organoids undergo demyelination upon lysolecithin challenge and subsequent remyelination, enabling screening of remyelination-promoting therapeutics for Multiple Sclerosis.
