Abstract
Cowan et al. developed a scalable, GMP-compatible retinal organoid production protocol generating all major retinal cell types with functional light-responsive circuits. This Roska lab/IOB Basel/Roche collaboration established the manufacturing framework for clinical-grade photoreceptor cell therapy.
