Abstract

Burridge et al. developed the first fully chemically defined, xeno-free protocol for iPSC-cardiomyocyte differentiation using CDM3 medium. The protocol eliminates all animal-derived components, achieves >95% purity with metabolic selection, and is directly compatible with GMP manufacturing for clinical translation.
