Abstract

Lan et al. generated patient-specific iPSC-cardiomyocytes carrying the HCM-causing MYH7 R403Q mutation, demonstrating cellular hypertrophy, sarcomeric disarray, and calcium handling abnormalities. This disease-in-a-dish model validated therapeutic candidates including myosin inhibitors and established the paradigm for iPSC-based cardiomyopathy modeling.
