Abstract

Nunes et al. developed the Biowire platform where iPSC-derived cardiac cells are seeded in collagen around a suture wire template and matured through progressive electrical frequency stimulation. The resulting tissues achieve adult-like conduction velocity, sarcomere organization, and force generation, establishing a mature cardiac model for drug testing.
