Abstract

Agarwal et al. developed PDMS micropost arrays for measuring single-cell contractile force of iPSC-CMs with controlled afterload. Calibrated micropillar deflection provides quantitative force, contraction velocity, and relaxation kinetics, enabling high-resolution drug-response profiling and afterload studies relevant to heart failure research.
