Abstract

Hansen et al. miniaturized the EHT format into a 24-well fibrin-based system where cardiac tissues form between flexible PDMS posts. Video-optical tracking of post deflection provides automated, non-invasive force measurement, enabling medium-throughput drug screening validated with >20 reference compounds showing adult-like pharmacological responses.
