Abstract
Li et al. systematically analyzed cardiomyocyte-fibroblast interactions at controlled ratios in 3D microtissues. Low fibroblast ratios (10-20%) enhance cardiomyocyte maturation through paracrine signaling, while higher ratios (>30%) create arrhythmogenic substrate, defining optimal culture compositions for cardiac organoid systems.
