Abstract
Yang et al. developed a fatty acid-based metabolic maturation protocol replacing glucose with galactose and supplementing palmitate/oleate to drive the glycolysis-to-FAO switch in iPSC-CMs. The resulting cells show adult-like metabolic profiles, improved sarcomere organization, and MYH7/MYH6 isoform switching, representing a widely adopted maturation strategy.
