Abstract

Jang et al. bioprinted cardiac patches using heart-derived decellularized ECM bioink with a PCL structural frame. Implantation in a post-MI model showed improved cardiac function and host vascular ingrowth, demonstrating translational potential of bioprinted tissue-specific cardiac patches.
