Abstract

Merkle et al. identified dominant-negative TP53 mutations acquired during iPSC culture through systematic genomic analysis. This Nature 2017 study established critical safety standards for clinical iPSC manufacturing, with TP53 and oncogene screening now recommended by regulators for clinical-grade iPSC-CM product release.
