Abstract

Extended the Clevers organoid system to human tissues, establishing long-term culture of organoids from human colon, adenoma, adenocarcinoma, and Barrett's esophagus. Key additions of Wnt3A, nicotinamide, A83-01, and SB202190 enabled indefinite human organoid expansion, forming the basis for all subsequent human GI organoid work.
