Abstract

An alternative intestinal organoid culture system using collagen gel air-liquid interface (ALI) with stromal support, published concurrently with the Clevers Matrigel-based system. Achieved sustained culture for over 350 days with all differentiated epithelial lineages and mesenchymal compartment preservation.
