Wnt-Responsive Intestinal Organoids from UC Patients Show
Source Nanki et al. · Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan
Abstract
Conducted large-scale organoid phenotyping from UC patients revealing intrinsic stem cell dysfunction including reduced clonogenicity and altered Wnt signaling dependency. Single-cell RNA-seq identified UC-specific stem cell subpopulations with abnormal lineage allocation, establishing stem cell biology as a key axis in UC pathogenesis.
