Abstract

Developed a primary human intestine-chip by seeding organoid-derived epithelial cells opposite vascular endothelium in the Emulate platform. The chip's transcriptome more closely resembled in vivo duodenum than organoids or Caco-2, with enhanced CYP3A4 drug metabolism activity supporting physiologically relevant PK/PD studies.
