Abstract
Takebe und Taniguchi demonstrierten die Selbstorganisation von iPSC-Hepatendoderm, HUVECs und MSCs zu dreidimensionalen Leberknospen auf Matrigel. Nach Transplantation in immundefiziente Mäuse wurden humane Gefäßnetzwerke durch Hostiengefäße perfundiert; die Leberknospen reiften zu funktionalem Lebergewebe. Bahnbrechendes Konzept für biologisches Leber-Engineering — eines der meistzitierten Organoid-Papers überhaupt.
