Abstract

Lee und Son et al. (KRIBB Korea) präsentierten ein multicellulares Organoidmodell aus PSC-abgeleiteten Hepatozyten und Kupffer-ähnlichen Makrophagen für die Co-Modellierung von HCV und NAFLD. HCV-Infektion induzierte Lipogenese und verstärkte Fettakkumulation in Gegenwart von NAFLD-Stimulus. Kupffer-ähnliche Makrophagen verstärkten die Entzündungsantwort synergistisch. Erstes Modell für die klinisch häufige Dual-Pathologie HCV + NAFLD.
