Abstract

Voabil, Haanen und Schumacher et al. (NKI, Nature Cancer 2021) ko-kultivierten autologe TILs mit patientenspezifischen HCC-Tumoroids und testeten PD-1/PD-L1-Checkpoint-Inhibitoren in diesem System. PD-L1-Induktion durch IFN-γ und Anti-PD-1-Enhancement der TIL-Zytotoxizität wurden quantifiziert. Tumoroid-TIL-Assay korrelierte mit klinischer Checkpoint-Inhibitor-Antwort — direkt relevant für Patientenselektion.
