Abstract

Landmark case report of near-total body surface regeneration from gene-corrected epidermal stem cells in a child with junctional EB. Demonstrated that the human epidermis is sustained by holoclone stem cells and established the feasibility of whole-body skin replacement with gene-corrected grafts.
